Mission: The mission of R.E.S.T.O.R.E., Inc. is to restore fathers back to the head of the family through the gospel of Jesus Christ; to reverse the trend fo fatherlessness in the greater Toledo, Ohio area, to restore fathers back to the family in order to insure a balanced approach to the holistic development of their children, to decrease the number of children growing up in a father absent home, to provide men with the resources and supports to overcome the challenges and obstacles that many men face as fathers, and to develop the skills in men necessary for them to be responsible men, husbands, and responsibly involved fathers.
Vision: The vision is that fathers will be united in their efforts to fulfill their purpose as men, husbands, and father. Fathers will be actively involved in the spiritual, emotional, psychological, mental, academic, and behavioral development of their children. R.E.S.T.O.R.E., Inc. will be one of the leaders in the nation to restore fatherhood and the institution of the family and its importance in maintaining social order and economic growth in society.
Belief: It is our belief that even after you have provided a man with tools and natural resources to overcome personal and systemic barriers to responsible fatherhood, it is only superfiscial. The source of his problems have not been addressed, making his apparent success only temporary. We must train men both in the natural and supernaturally to be adequately able to sustain himself against the attacks of the adversary.
When the unclean spirit is gone out of a man, he walketh through dry places, seeking rest, and findeth none. Then he saith, I will return into my house from whence I came out; and when he is come, he findeth it empty, swept, and garnished. Then goeth he, and taketh with himself seven other spirits more wicked than himself, and they enter in and dwell there: and the last state of that man is worse than the first.
